Description
The BlindShell BEEP is a device that is made to help people with impaired vision find their misplaced items quickly and easily. How it works is that the beeper works in tandem with the app (which is needed to use the beeper) on the BlindShell phone. What the phone does is that it tracks the beeper, and if you ever lose something with the beeper attached, then you can use the app on your phone to ring the beeper that is attached to your device.
Troubleshooting Steps
To pair the beeper with your BlindShell phone:
- Open the Beepers app on your BlindShell device.
- Turn on the beeper by long-pressing its button until it beeps multiple times.
- Select “Add beeper” from the app menu.
- Press the beeper button repeatedly to initiate pairing.
- Once connected, you’ll be prompted to name the beeper.
- This process uses Bluetooth, and pairing must be completed before the beeper can be used.
Safety Instructions
- The beeper requires the BlindShell app to function.
- Keep it dry and away from moisture or corrosive materials.
