Step‑by‑step: Setting up a Cash App account (for iPhone and Android)

- Install Cash App

- On iPhone: Open the App Store, tap the Search tab, type “Cash App”, then tap Get or Install.

- On Android: Open the Google Play Store, tap the search bar, type “Cash App”, then tap Install.

Wait for it to finish, then look for the green icon with a white dollar sign.

- Open the app

Tap the Cash App icon on your home screen to open it.

- Enter your phone number or email

On the first screen, you’ll be asked for a mobile phone number or email address.

- Tap the box, type it in slowly, then tap Next or the arrow button.

- Enter the code you receive

Cash App will send you a code by text message or email.

- Open your Messages or Email, find the code, and type it into Cash App.
