Here’s a straightforward, step‑by‑step guide to setting up an Audible account.

On your phone (Audible app)

1. Install the Audible app

• Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

• Search for “Audible” (by Amazon) and install it.

2.Open the app

• Tap the Audible icon once it’s installed.

3.Tap “Sign In” or “Get Started”

• You’ll usually see options like “Sign In” or “Start Listening”.

• Since you’re creating an account, look for “Create your Amazon account” or similar.

4. Create (or use) an Amazon account

• Audible uses your Amazon account. You have two options:

• Already have Amazon? Tap Sign In and enter your Amazon email/phone + password.

• New to Amazon? Tap Create an account and enter:

• Name

• Email or mobile number

• Password

5. Verify your email or phone (if prompted)

• Amazon may send a code to your email or phone.

• Enter the code in the app to confirm your account.

6. Agree to terms and continue

• Accept any terms and conditions prompts.

• You’ll now be signed in to Audible with your Amazon account.

7. Choose a plan or start a trial

• You may see an offer for an Audible free trial (often 30 days).

• You can:

• Start the free trial (you’ll need a payment method on your Amazon account), or

• Skip for now and browse free or sample content.

8. Set your preferences

• Audible may ask what genres you like (mystery, self‑help, fantasy, etc.).

• Pick a few to get better recommendations, or skip.

9. Start listening

• Browse the Home, Library, or Search tabs.

• Tap a title, then Play or Download to start listening.

1. Go to Audible’s website

• Open your browser and go to Audible’s official site.

2. Click “Sign In”

• Then click “Create your Amazon account” if you don’t already have one.

3. Fill in your details

• Enter your name, email or mobile number, and password.

• Click Create your Amazon account.

4 Verify your email/phone

• Enter the verification code sent to you.

5. Set up membership (optional)

• Choose an Audible Plus or Premium Plus plan, or start a free trial if offered.

6. Sign in on your phone

• Open the Audible app on your phone.
