1. Before you install: check if Zelle is already in your bank app
Many people don’t need the Zelle app at all—Zelle is often built into their bank’s own app.
1. Find your bank’s app on your phone
• Look for an icon with your bank’s name (for example: Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, etc.).
2. Open the bank app and sign in
• Use your usual username and password.
3. Look for “Zelle” or “Send money”
• Tap: “Send Money,” “Transfers,” “Pay & Transfer,” or something similar.
• See if there is a button that says “Zelle”.
4. If you see Zelle there
• You can follow the on‑screen instructions to enroll—no need to install a separate Zelle app.
5. If you do NOT see Zelle
• Then you can install the Zelle app using the steps below.

• Double‑check the phone number or email before sending money—one wrong digit can send it to the wrong person.

• If something doesn’t feel right, it’s okay not to continue.
